Everything You Need To Know About Fenty Beauty by Rihanna

Rihanna has just dropped Fenty Beauty, her 91-product-strong beauty line into SEPHORA globally. She’s put her family name on the packaging so you know she ain’t playing. This one’s personal.

Born Robyn Rihanna Fenty, the Barbados beauty is in a league of celebrity where she no longer needs to reveal so much, or any, of herself. She’s long proven her talent and these days, steps out only to promote new film projects, fashion collaborations and support worthy causes like World AIDS Day. It’s her work that occupies public consciousness and the rest stays private.

But behind the alter ego, who even is Robyn Fenty? We’re not too sure. That’s what makes Fenty Beauty so exciting for fans. Music aside, it’s another way fans will get to personally connect with their idol. “I had 100% involvement in this process. I had so much freedom in creating whatever palettes I wanted to make, in whatever colour or shades I wanted to make them,” Fenty shares.

TOP 3 FENTY BEAUTY TO TRY:

Gloss Bomb – This is the only lip product in the Fenty Beauty range. A universal, one-colour-fits-all lip treatment and tint. Rihanna says she applies it 24/7. “It’s truly addictive. It’s comfortable, nourishing and you just want to wear it all day,” she adds.

Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation Fenty created 40 shades of this medium to high coverage soft-matte foundation and insisted that the range should be available in its entirety to all 17 countries that will receive the brand.

Invisimatte Blotting Papers – To create the #FentyFace, one must never have ‘shine’. Blotting papers were a must-have for Rihanna, who confesses that they’re her beauty essential. “Every red carpet you see me on, this is in my clutch. Every single time. Every paparazzi picture. I hate being greasy or getting caught oily in pictures – we ALL hate that – and this is the cure,” she says.
