It’s hard to believe that CHANEL’s popular CHANCE fragrance has been around for 12 years. Seriously though… where did the time go?

Now the brand celebrates its joyous olfactory creation with the addition of a brand new interpretation of the scent, CHANCE Eau Vive.

Joining the CHANCE family – that also includes CHANCE Eau Fraîche and CHANCE Eau Tendre – the new fragrance is delicately sparkling and endlessly romantic and is the first interpretation created for CHANEL by perfumer Olivier Polge (son of legendary French perfumer, Jacques Polge).

This oversized version, which sadly isn’t available for sale, was too beautiful not to shoot. Accompanied by blooms arranged by Myra Perez, talented floral artist and founder of Sydney’s My Violet, an hour in her creative space had me suddenly feeling like I had been transported to a Parisian marche aux fleurs.

A concentration of youthful energy, the fragrance sweeps you up in a burst of grapefruit and revitalizing blood orange. Gradually, the scent reveals jasmine and musk, already found in the first CHANCE fragrance, before settling with a sillage of fresh vetiver and cedar-iris accord.

If you’re going to take a chance on a new fragrance, you might as well take it on CHANEL. Don’t you agree?
