On Wednesday, formidable Australian designer Carla Zampatti celebrated 50 years in fashion with a spectacular runway show held at the Sydney Opera House.
The spring/summer collection, which consisted of vivid pink and bright yellow set against her signature black and white design palette, and deservedly saw a standing ovation from guests.
Backstage, the models who were also wearing Cerrone jewels, had their hair styled into a juxtaposition of textures.
Hair Director, Daren Borthwick for TONI&GUY, created a hair look that focused on clean design and a polished wet look finish which also had an element of structure yet softness around the face.
“[Looking] polished was definitely key throughout every element of the show, which the hair only accentuates,” says Katy Reeve, National Creative Director TONI&GUY Australia. “Working alongside Daren [Borthwick] was also magic.”
